The Oculoplasty, Squint and Paediatric department has a floor dedicated for children. Common problem like Amblyopia (lazy eye) is treated with ocular exercises. Surgical corrections for squint, including traumatic and paralytic ones are regularly performed. Lid deformities like Ptosis, Entropion, Ectropion, etc. lid tumours and lid injuries with reconstruction are done. Old age watering problems are treated with cosmetic lid tightening surgeries. Other cosmetic problems like the non-seeing, disfigured eyes are removed and replaced with integrated and moulded artificial ones with ceramic intraorbital implants to simulate natural like eye movements. Ellman Radio frequency knife, super Diode laser for transcanilicular bloodless DCR surgeries are modern technologies making occuloplastic surgery faster, easier and more patient-friendly.
